Ask for Your Data
Last updated 12 October 2026.
You can ask Greywell Cyber Ltd what personal data we hold about you and for a copy of it. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our using it or give it to you in a portable form. Our privacy policy explains what we hold and why.
If You Have a Member Account
You can do the two most common things yourself, straight away, on your account page: download a copy of everything your account holds, or delete your account. You are still welcome to ask us instead.
How to Ask
The easiest way is to email legal@greywellcyber.com. You can also write to us at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, or ask in any other way that reaches us: a request is valid however it arrives and you do not need to use particular words.
It helps if you tell us:
- your name and the email address you used with us
- what you would like us to do
- if you only want some of your data, which part
Checking It Is You
We only ask for proof of identity when we cannot otherwise be reasonably sure the request is from you. Usually, replying from the email address we already hold is enough. If we do need more, we will ask for the least we can and explain why. We will never ask you to upload identity documents through a web form.
What Happens Next
- We will acknowledge your request.
- We will answer within one month of receiving it. If we need something to confirm who you are, or to understand what you are asking for, the month pauses until we have it, and we will ask straight away.
- We will search everywhere we would reasonably expect to find your data.
- If the request is complex, we may extend this by up to two further months; if so we will tell you within the first month and explain why.
- There is normally no charge.
If You Are Not Happy
Tell us first at legal@greywellcyber.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it and tell you the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
